Tung Der High School is currently a Candidate School for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.

Tung Der High School is working towards becoming an authorized IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy, which includes a dedication to providing a high-quality, challenging, and international education—values that Tung Der High School holds as essential for its students.

*Only schools authorized by the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization can offer its four academic programs: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). Mission Statement

Our mission at Tung Der High School is to empower students to become compassionate lifelong learners who will positively commit to becoming global citizens.

We dedicatedly strive to nurture inquiring minds, develop critical thinking skills and intercultural understanding, and most importantly foster a sense of responsibility towards our world. Over and above, we encourage students to always seek to be knowledgeable and humble individuals.

Consistently developing and implementing a balanced academic curriculum, we aim to cultivate a reflective and communicative learning environment for students and educators in our school.

APPLICATION PROCESS
學生入學申請流程

STEP 1: STUDENTS & PARENTS INTERVIEW
After an initial consultation with the students' parents, the following process will be followed. 
步驟一: 學生與家長個別面談
在與學生及家長進行初步面談後，將遵循以下流程。

STEP 2: SUBMIT APPLICATION AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

Please submit the following completed documents to our admissions office:
步驟二: 繳交申請表及備審資料
請備妥以下資料繳交至招生組:

1. Completed Application Form For Tung Der High School. 
   填妥國際文憑課程實驗班申請表
   
2. Identification
   身分資料
3. Transfer Certificate or Graduation Certificate.
   在學證明或畢業證書
4. Official transcripts or report cards from the previous two academic years.
   近兩年的成績單

STEP 3: ADMIN DEPAREMENT REVIEW

After receiving these documents, the Admissions Office will complete a review to determine whether student interview can be offered.

步驟三: 文件審核
招生組將審核家長提交的申請文件，以判定是否合適安排家長及學生進行面試。

同德國際文憑課程實驗班將聯絡符合資格的學生，並安排下一階段的面試。若申請學生未能通過此階段審核，原因可能包括成績未達標準或語言能力不足等，學校將另行通知。

STEP 4: ACCEPTANCE DECISION

After the interview and a review of the final documents, an acceptance decision will be made.

If an applicant is not accepted at this stage, their family will be officially notified by telephone.

After a written formal acceptance is received, all tuition and fees must be paid by the designated due date in order to reserve a seat. Failure to meet the deadline will result in forfeiture of the student’s enrollment and placement on the waiting list.

Once an applicant is accepted, the Student Medical Information and Student Enrollment Information are required to be completed by a parent or guardian as a condition of enrollment.

步驟四: 錄取結果

同德國際文憑課程實驗班將依據面試以及備審資料來評估申請學生的資格；未通過審核的學生將收到學校的電話通知。

一旦收到正式的錄取通知，請在指定的繳費期限內完成繳費程序，以確保自己的錄取名額。逾期未繳費者將失去錄取資格，並可能影響候補名單中的順序。

完成錄取程序後，學生需要提交由其父母或監護人填寫完整的健康資料和入學相關文件。

• The Applicant is of the appropriate age and the instituion has a place available in the appropriate year group.

• The enrolment fees and first term's Tuition are paid in full.
  第一學期學費需於入學前繳清。
  
• Parents accept, in writing, the School's Terms & Conditions.

Tung Der High School offers for its students multiple options for campus dormitory accommodation.
同德國際文憑課程實驗班為學生提供多種校園宿舍住宿選擇

1. Our dormitory are all Quadruple rooms with bunk beds, each room can stay up to 4 boarders. 
   我們的宿舍都是四人房，每間皆配有雙層床，每個房間最多可入住4名住宿生。
   
   
2. Boarding fee is NTD. $15,000-$16,000 per semester, subject to number of boarding days. Water & natural gas bill included.
   學期住宿費為新台幣15,000 至 16,000 元，費用視住宿天數而定。 此費用包含水費和天然氣費。
   
   
3. Electricity fee excluded, boarders will have to top up their room A/C card.
   宿舍電費另計，住宿生需為其房間冷氣 A/C 卡儲值以使用電器。
   
   
4. Daily breakfast and dinner are NOT included, boarders will have to purchase their meals at the canteen.
   住宿生之每日早餐和晚餐不包含在住宿費內，住宿生必須於指定時間至食堂購買餐點。
   
   
5. If international students come to Taiwan without their legal guardians, our institution can assist in arranging local guardians and have personnel to keep in close contact and provide proper care.
   若國際留學生來台並無固定監護人，本校可協助安排當地監護人，並有人員密切聯繫，提供妥善照顧。
   
   
6. Students and faculty are all welcomed to stay at our dormitory.
   歡迎同德學生和教師入住我們的宿舍。
   
   
7. Payment Options: bank counters, ATMs, remittance, and online ATM transfers.

• WHEN IS THE ACADEMIC YEAR?
  The academic year runs from August to June.

  The instituion runs from Monday to Friday.

  Middle Year Program (Grade6-10) : 8.50 a.m. to 4.20 p.m.

  High School Program   (Grade11-12): 8.50 a.m. to 4.20 p.m.

• DOES Tung Der High School PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION?
  國際文憑課程實驗班有提供交通服務嗎?
  Yes. We offer a shuttle bus service to certain parts around our campus. The shuttle bus service is available for students starting in Year 1 to Year 12.

  我們有提供交通車服務到中彰投的特定站點，全年級學生皆可申請交通車服務。

•  IS THERE A UNIFORM OR SPORTSWEAR?
  國際文憑課程實驗班有規定的制服或體育服嗎?
  The adherence to the school uniform policy is mandatory for all students.

  Additionally, specific attire is designated for various sports and formal events. It is expected that students maintain a tidy and dignified appearance while wearing their uniforms.

  所有學生都必須遵守校服政策，校服分為運動服及正式制服，我們期望學生都能保持整齊、端莊的外表，並帶有尊重及榮耀的穿著校服。
